- Girls are wearing dresses
- An animal or some sort of creatures
- Men are physically stronger than women
Which stereotypical represented are subverted ( challenged )?
- women being stronger that the men
- The females save the day
How are men represented in the lego movie?
In the poster Emmet is in the centre of the the poster running away from the danger terrified and when you compare his expressions to wyldstyle or Batman and also in the trailer you can see emmet screaming and shouting 'i want to go home'. But most of the men are represented by being brave and not afraid like Batman.
Task one
wyldstyle is represented by being a strong independant women in the film poster, she looks like a person who is not scared or faced by anyone or at any challenged in her way she shows not the stereo typical women. it shows the stereo typical of the men being brave and tough but not the women because wyldstyle is such a strong character as a women which would normally be the opposite because in most films the women need either saving or helping them.
Task two
wyldstyle in the film trailer is represented as a strong female women and fights the robots and emmet is shocked by what she has done. she says that he would die and that shows that she doesn't care whether he dies she just wants to get the job done. this shows her as a person who doesn't care what other peoples opinions are.
How is age represented in the poster campaign for the leo movie?
Age is represented by in the poster by having different generations in the film. you can see the generations represented in the poster campaign by there faces such as Emmet is young because he has no beard nice thick hair, no wrinkles, and his hair which is brown not white. however with Vitruis has white hair, white beard , and lots of wrinkles on his face.
